Royal Air Force Aircraft

 

 

The RAF operates a wide variety of aircraft at bases throughout the UK. Including aircraft used in the training roles such as the Tutor, Firefly, Tucano, Dominie and King Air. Fast jets, the Hawk, Harrier, Tornado and Typhoon and transport aircraft such as Hercules, VC10, Tristar and C-17 Globemaster. Finally reconnaissance aircraft including the Nimrod, Sentinel and E-3 Sentry. Some older aircraft are used as engineering airframes, including the Jaguar and the Jet Provost.
