Over the last few years the presence in the UK by the United States Air Force (USAF) has decreased with the closure of such bases as Alconbury, Bentwaters, Woodbridge and Upper Heyford. With the USAF now only operating from two bases full time, Mildenhall and Lakenheath. Unless you live in Suffolk or fancy a long drive it is getting increasingly difficult to see American Aircraft here in the UK.
