At RAF Coningsby

17th to 25th September 2025

The above image, a pair of McDonnell F-15J Eagles, escorted by a RAF Coningsby Typhoon.

 The arrival of the pair of F-15s, was preceded by the C-2 transport aircraft arriving, the first on the 17th of September. The second arrived after the F-15s the following day.

The Canadian Lancaster arrived at RAF Coningsby on August 8th 2004, just after a downpour which put paid to a flypast with the BBMF Lancaster, which was the original plan, so it was a straight in approach, then a tow to the hangar.
