Meet Mark Linney
Mark served with the Royal Air Force for sixteen years flying fast jets, such as the Tornado GR1 (16 Squadron) and Harrier GR7 (IV Squadron). Mark also flew the Hawk with the Central Flying School and was the RAF's Hawk display pilot in 1990. Mark left the RAF in 1996 and started his commercial flying career and has since flown the Boeing 757, 747 and 747-400.
Mark is currently a captain on the Airbus A340-300-600 and has flown over 10,000 hours in total. Mark has been flying aircraft on the civilian display circuit for some time, including the Chipmunk, Hunter, Strikemaster, L-39, T-33 and MiG 15, and can be seen at air shows throughout the country displaying Golden Apple's F-86A Sabre.
